Inspired by their intelligence and unique nature, Kristen set out to learn everything she could about foxes—only to find that much of the existing information focused on exploiting them for fur. Disturbed by this, she dedicated herself to educating the public on the behaviors, needs, and rightful protection of these incredible creatures. The rescue was started in memory of Kristen’s dear friend Max, who ran A New Hope in Georgia and whose compassion for animals and people alike continues to inspire. Through her nonprofit, Kristen is committed to rescuing foxes in need, providing them with lifelong care, and advocating for their well-being.
